Sarah McCall is a poet, bartender, yoga teacher, and student of all things wordy and spiritual. She comes from the Ocean View region of Norfolk, VA and likes to stay close to salt water if she can. Sarah spent six years teaching high school English before being admitted to Old Dominion University’s MFA program. She is the recipient of the first annual Ruhi Dayanim women's poetry prize in 2015 for "Dear Love & Co." When she’s not studying or teaching or frenetically juggling the rest of it, Sarah likes to ride her bicycle and walk her dog Hank.
