Our walk-in book buying policy is as follows:
We review books in quantities of 15 or less, Mon-Thurs from 12pm-4pm, during which we can offer cash or store credit.
We generally offer more store credit than cash, and there is a limited amount of cash we can spend in a day; if you want cash, we recommend coming early or giving us a call. We can't guarantee cash will be available, however, we do offer store credit through to 4pm.
We will look at all kinds of books, except for magazines and textbooks, and the appraisal process depends greatly on the condition and popularity of the books. Significant tears or water damage will bring down the value of the books and we may deem some unsellable. We can accept books that have light highlighting/underlining/annotations, but it does lower their value.

We are accepting appointments for larger quantities. If you have any questions, exceptional cases, old/rare books, or would like to set up an appointment please email our Buyback Manager: james@shelflifebooksrva.com
